How long does it take to book a tour?
Cover Reveals & Book Blitzes must be booked 2-3 weeks in advance. Blog tours must be booked at least 6-8 weeks prior to start date. If you would like reviews to make up more than 50% of your tour then I recommend booking your tour three months in advance.
What am I responsible for in the booking of my tour?
You are responsible for sending me ALL material requested in my initial email within 7 days or your tour dates will be subject to change. If there is no communication after 30 days, then I will have to remove your tour from my planning schedule and you will not be refunded. If you do not send author interviews or guest posts to me by their due date, I can't guarantee that those stops on your blog tour will be rescheduled. It's best to keep in good communication with me via email. I understand that things come up!
I've booked my tour! Now what?
Stop by, be present, and share your Blog Tour with the world! Visit each blog stop on your tour, leave a comment for the blogger hosting your book, and share each stop with your social media community. Also, share your tour banner on your social media pages! The more people reached, the more attention your book will generate.
When is your fee due? Are your fees refundable?
Tour packages must be paid in full before the tour starts, no exceptions. I am unable to refund the tour fee once it is paid.
How can I best communicate with you?
The best way to get in touch is via email, at: email@example.com
I will do my very best to get back to you promptly, but please allow up to 48 hours for a response.
What are your hours?
My hours are Monday through Friday, 9am - 3pm, Pacific Standard Time.
Will a blog tour with you generate sales of my book?
I can’t guarantee sales during your blog tour. While we want your blog tour to generate sales, the main focus of a blog tour is to bring attention to your book and help you broaden your audience. It’s a crucial step in order to make sales. Blog tours are meant to create buzz around your literary work.
Why don't you offer review-only tours?
As an author myself, I know how important book reviews are for authors. The simple answer is that I just can't guarantee I can fill your tour with all reviews. Book bloggers take many things into consideration before choosing to join a blog tour; the book cover, the book's description, the length of the book, the time frame of the blog tour, etc. I am unable to predict the interest they will have in reviewing your book.
Do I need to hire an editor?
Your book needs to be professionally edited. I can not stress this enough. If you need an editor, we have one on staff and would be happy to assist you.
Do you guarantee good reviews?
All the reviewers on your tour will post an honest review and while it doesn't happen too often, sometimes reviewers will contact me and choose not to review the book because they did not enjoy it. If they choose to stay on your tour, their review stop will turn into a book spotlight, interview, or guest post. I mention this because, if it happens, it will result in fewer book reviews and/or stops on your tour than initially scheduled.
What happens if a blogger doesn't post their scheduled stop for my book?
Sometimes emergencies come up for bloggers and/or technical issues occur. When this happens, stops may need to be rescheduled to a different date.
What if a blogger doesn't re-post their review of my book on Amazon?
We request all of our bloggers to re-post their reviews on Amazon. However, due to Amazon's inconsistent review policy, we can't guarantee that blogger's reviews will be posted there. But we will do our best to make it happen.
What if you can't fill my tour due to lack of interest in my book? Will I get a refund?
I am unable to offer refunds because I have already dedicated hours and hours of work to your tour. If for some reason I am unable to secure enough bloggers for your tour, I will reduce the size of the tour and credit you the extra amount from the tour price to be used towards other services we offer, such as a book blitz, cover reveal, etc.
I have my own designer. Can they design my tour banner?
As our in-house designer uses a specific format to create our book banners, we are unable to use banners created by your designer. However, if you do already work with a designer, we would love for them to send us the fonts and 3D cover images for your book so that we may keep your design consistent.
I reserve the right to stop any tour without a refund IF an author harasses any of the bloggers. I never thought I would have to deal with an unprofessional author who would do this, but it has happened and so now this will go into effect immediately.
